Kendall Bonner will graduate summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics and a minor in computer science.

With a love of math theory, Kendall plans to pursue a career in research in combinatorics or analysis as a professor at a research institution. She has also completed a data analyst internship at YMCA of Northwest Florida and has spent almost the last two years working for Auburn University as a cybersecurity analyst.

During her time at Auburn University, Kendall also worked in the external affairs office for Auburn University’s chapter of Engineers Without Borders, through which she helped raise corporate donations to support a domestic project providing sewage solutions to southern communities in need. She was also part of the 100+ Women Strong program.

Kendall is planning to pursue a Ph.D. in mathematics. As a woman in STEM, she is particularly interested in being involved in math education. She hopes to encourage others to pursue their interests regardless of their identities, and she appreciates the female role models that she has had in mathematics and computer science.
