Melissa is a proud graduate of Auburn University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing with a minor in Dance. Originally from Tallahassee, Florida, she attended Auburn alongside her three siblings—continuing a special family tradition, as both of her parents are also Auburn alumni. Biggest Advice for Incoming Students: Dive into the Auburn Family!
Welcome to Auburn—you're officially part of something truly special! My biggest piece of advice? Get involved and jump into campus life with excitement! Join a club, go to events, smile at new faces (you never know who might become a close friend!), and say yes to new adventures. The Auburn Family is full of energy, pride, and heart—if you love Auburn, Auburn will love you back.
Favorite Places on Campus
Some of my favorite spots on campus are places that truly capture the spirit of Auburn.
- Jordan-Hare Stadium on an Auburn football gameday is unforgettable—the energy, the traditions, and the sea of orange and blue make it something special.
- Haley Concourse on a busy day is full of life, with student organizations, events, and friendly faces—it’s the heart of campus activity.
- And Samford Lawn at sunset is the perfect place to pause, relax, and take in the beauty of Auburn.
Favorite Auburn Tradition
My favorite Auburn tradition is rolling Toomer’s Corner after a big win! There’s nothing like celebrating alongside students, alumni, and fans—all coming together to cover the trees in white and share in the excitement. It’s a moment that truly captures the pride and spirit of the Auburn Family. It’s not just a tradition—it’s a memory you’ll never forget.
