24/7 Access to Employment, Income Verifications
Employment and income verifications may be required when applying for a mortgage or loan, for reference checking, leasing an apartment, establishing credit, or any other instance where proof of employment or income is needed.
Experian provides employment and income verifications for Auburn University employees through its website, Experian Verify. The information is available instantly, 24 hours a day, seven days per week. Experian Verify can provide proof of employment and/or income when employees are securing financing, leasing an apartment or providing information to government agencies. Requestors and employees can visit www.experianverify.com to create an account and obtain a report. All verifications will be completed online and will not be completed by phone, fax or email.

Commercial Requests: When submitted via www.experianverify.com, a verification of employment is returned immediately to the verifier. A verification of income requires the verifier to upload the borrower’s signed authorization. Once approved, the verification of income is generated. The verifier receives a notification that the report is now available.

Social Service Requests: When submitted via www.experianverify.com, a verification of employment and income is returned immediately to the social service verifier. If faxed to 404-829-1336, uploaded through the Employer Portal, or emailed to verify@experian.com, the Experian Verify Customer Support team will process these requests within one business day. The report is returned to the requesting agency by mail, fax, or email. These can be submitted by the agency, employer, or employee directly for fulfillment.
