First Class Honours B.A. - University of British Columbia
M.A. in Italian - Middlebury College
Ph.D. in medieval Italian literature - University of California at Berkeley
Ph. D. Dissertation: "Simile and Other Figures of Comparisons in the Poetry of Giacomo da Lentini"
I have lived in Florence, Italy for two years, and I visit Italy on a regular basis.
I have lived in Auburn since 1983.

PROFESSIONAL INFORMATION
Job title: Associate Professor of Italian, Auburn University
Key responsibilities: Director of the Italian Studies Program, Italian Studies Advisor, Instructor of all Italian courses.
Research interests: medieval Italian literature and culture, cinema, foreign language pedagogy.
