Education:

Morgan Fisher, Pharm.D. is a Professor of Practice in the Academic Programs unit at the Harrison College of Pharmacy. She received her Pharm.D. from the Harrison College of Pharmacy in 2018.

As a Professor of Practice, Dr. Fisher participates in the Practice Ready Curriculum with Pharm.D. students including in small and large group instruction, active delivery of educational content, and assessment of pharmacy related skills. Additionally, she precepts students in both active and simulated patient care activities, collaborates with other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized patient care plans, utilizes an electronic health record to document all patient care activities, and identifies patients for pharmacist led interventions using population health metrics.

After receiving her Pharm.D., Dr. Fisher completed a PGY-1 residency with the Central Alabama Veterans Healthcare System in Montgomery, Alabama. After completing the residency, she stayed in with the VA as an Anticoagulation Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner. While there, she served on the residency advisory board and residency project advisory committee. Her areas of expertise include anticoagulation and ambulatory care sensitive conditions.

A native of Peachtree City, Georgia, Fisher and her husband, Billy, currently live in Auburn. In her free time, she enjoys serving her local church, reading and attending Auburn sporting events.
