Greg Peden, Pharm.D. is the Executive Director of Clinical Health Services within the Clinical Affairs and Outreach division of the Harrison School of Pharmacy. He joined HSOP in 2010 as the pharmacist in charge at the Auburn University Student Pharmacy after practicing in both chain and independent pharmacy settings.

In Dr. Peden’s current role, he is responsible for overseeing the operations of all pharmacies and clinics that HSOP directly manages. These include the AU Student Pharmacy, AU Employee Pharmacy, AU Pharmaceutical Care Center, and State Wellness Center. He is also an affiliate Clinical Assistant Professor within the Department of Pharmacy Practice and preceptor for AU residencies. He has expertise in community pharmacy practice, ambulatory care, applied pharmacoeconomics, pharmacy administration and pharmacy jurisprudence.

Dr. Peden is active in various organizations including the Alabama Pharmacy Association (APA) and MMCAP Infuse (a national state government group purchasing organization serving all 50 states). He also serves on the AU Student Insurance Committee; provides expert consultation for the AU Insurance and Benefits Committee and serves on several HSOP committees including chairing the Clinical Services Advisory Committee. He is also currently serving a four-year term on the MMCAP Infuse Advisory Board (2017-20).
