Career Center

Career Services

Career counselors are available for individual assistance related to your specific career needs. Topics of assistance include self-assessment and career exploration, planning and implementing job search strategies, writing resumes and cover letters and preparing for interviews and plant visits. Mock interviews - videotaped practice interviews - offered on an individual basis, are a valuable opportunity for self-assessment. Please visit the Career Center for more information.

Health & Wellness Programs

An individual fitness program can be tailored to your specific needs to improve your overall fitness. Personal health assessments to determine blood pressure, body composition, cholesterol, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, muscular strength and endurance are available. AU Medical Services

Auburn University Medical Clinic is a full-service primary care clinic serving AU students, faculty, staff and the community. In addition to having physicians, nurse practitioners and a full nursing staff, we also have a full lab, x-ray facilities and an optical clinic. Campus Recreation

Recreational Services provides supervision for the recreational areas on the AU campus. Facilities include a weight room, a fitness room, seven courts, multi-purpose rooms, ten racquetball courts, 17 tennis courts and intramural fields. Students and faculty are encouraged to use the indoor facilities when they are not scheduled for practices, classes or games. Details may be found at Campus Rec.

U1000: The Auburn Experience and U1050: Academic Success Strategies

Popular one-hour courses offered to help first-year students transition to college life. The Auburn Experience offers insight into how the university works and what support services are available. Academic Success Strategies introduces the study skills and time management that will enable you to reach your academic goals.
