Alabama State Tag Information

It is the responsibility of any AU department or entity acquiring a permanent new or used vehicle to obtain a state tag from the Alabama Department of Revenue Motor Vehicle Division. The form to either apply for either a new tag or to transfer a tag from one vehicle to another can be found at www.revenue.alabama.gov/motorvehicle/mvforms/MV4012250.pdf. All questions pertaining to the purchase or transfer of state tags should be directed to the Alabama Department of Revenue Motor Vehicle Division at www.ador.state.al.us/motorvehicle/index.html

Service Decal Request

Dedicated parking is provided for AU service vehicles displaying an AU Service Decal. Unless otherwise noted, AU service vehicle spaces are enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Whenever possible, we ask that AU service vehicles utilize the dedicated parking spaces, to keep non-dedicated parking spaces available for others.

To request an AU Service Decal, you must fill out Auburn University Service Vehicle Decal Request Form. AU departments only are eligible to submit a request for a service decal. All questions pertaining to service decal requests should be directed to the Assistant VP for Auxiliary Services Office at 844-4190 or at auxiliaryserv@auburn.edu.
