The mission of Parking Services is to facilitate safe and convenient access to Auburn University while encouraging alternative modes of transportation.
Parking Services is responsible for:
- implementation and enforcement of parking rules and regulations
- sale of parking decals
- compilation and publishing of parking regulations
- collection of fines
- transmittal of student fines to Student Financial Services

Want to Carpool?
 Governor Riley encourages state employees to save money by carpooling to work. The State Personnel Department is pleased to announce their Commute with Company Program which they have agreed to share with Auburn University. Through Commute with Company we hope to decrease traffic on the roads while increasing the money in your wallet! Visit the State Personnel web site and click the Commute with Company link for more information.
Temporary Location
AU Parking Services offices is temporarily located in a trailer at the west end of
Allison Physics Labs, 351-A Duncan Drive.
Clarification Given On How To Order Faculty/Staff Parking Permits
Faculty and staff may begin registering for their 2008 parking permits by going to their Self-Service Banner accounts in AU Access.Click on this AU Access link (or select AU Access from the AU home page) and then login, select "Employee Services," select "Self-Service Banner," and select "Parking Services." Costs may be payroll deducted from pretax earnings by choosing "Payroll Deduction," in which case the permit will be sent via campus mail. Those not selecting "Payroll Deduction" must go to Parking Services to pick up their hangtag. All faculty and staff must register online regardless of how they choose to pay for it. Housing Parking Lottery Information
There are a limited number of parking spaces in close proximity to the Hill and Quad residence halls and Extension apartments. These proximate spaces are allocated by random lottery. If you will be living in one of these areas and wish to be included in the lottery, complete and submit the Application for Parking Lottery that you will find as a link on the AU Housing web site.
