Annual Parking Vehicle Registration
Registration for 2018-2019 student preferred parking will be available starting July 9th and will end August 17th. The random drawing will be held on August 18th. Please note that the Preferred Commuter (PC) zone is split up into four separate zones. PC1 will be the Coliseum lot, PC2 the Arena lot, PC3 the Magnolia/Donahue lot and PC4 is the Village West Lot. Parking zone registration cost this year will be the same as last year which is the following: Graduate B, C, and RO are $80; RD, RH, RT, RW, PC1, PC2, PC3, and PC4 are $180; and RX is $120. Registration will be completed through AU Access. You will not be receiving a permit and the registration of your vehicle is all that we need. We will be using license plate recognition for enforcement and it is very important to notify us when you have a change in the vehicle that you will be using. Motorcycle and bicycle registration will begin August 1st. Motorcycle permits are $15 and bicycle permits are free; these permits can be picked up at the Parking Services Office. Please remember that ALL bicycles on Auburn University campus must have a valid permit. The 2017-2018 permits expire August 17th so be sure to register your vehicle to avoid a ticket. The cost for a vehicle registration for the 2018-2019 permit year will be the same as last year; $80 for an A-zone and $40 for a B-zone. The additional vehicles must be registered by sending firstname.lastname@example.org the vehicle information (make, model, color, license plate number and state). We may also ask for a copy of the vehicle registration. Vehicle registration can be completed online through AU Access with payment through payroll deduction or by payment at the Parking Services Office. The vehicle must be registered after that date or a ticket will be issued. You may also register your motorcycle and bicycle online. Bicycle registration is free but all bicycles that will be on the Auburn University campus must have a permit. Motorcycle registration can be paid through payroll deduction and the permit must be picked up at the Parking Services Office. To view the changes in the parking zones for the 2018-2019 parking year, click on “MAP” at the top of this page. Neither an A-zone nor a B-zone can park in any of the PC spaces Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. beginning Aug. 16. For questions, contact the Parking Services Office at (334) 844-4143.
Bicycles must be registered
Bicycles must be registered by the second week of class for each of the semesters (Fall, Spring and Summer). After that time, any bicycle that is not registered or not properly chained to a bicycle rack will be removed and placed in our impound lot at the owner's expense. You may register your bicycle online, from August 1st of each calendar year through June 30th of the following calendar year, by going to AU Access. To obtain a bicycle permit during July of each calendar year, you must come to the Parking Services office to register the bicycle. You must pick up the bicycle permit at the Parking Services Office unless you are Faculty/Staff and order the permit before September 2nd.
