AUBURN – Beginning Nov. 7, the Office of International Programs will offer a free tai chi class every weekday from 11:30 a.m. until noon in front of Foy Hall.
Participants are encouraged to attend as time permits, and no registration is necessary. Instruction will be provided by professional kung fu coach Qin Cai from Nanjing, China. Participants should wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
Tai chi is an ancient Chinese form of self-defense. Today's version is described as "providing practitioners with gentle exercise, stress reduction and a sense of serenity."
