Office of International Programs Hosts Korea Festival Nov. 6-8

AUBURN – The Office of International Programs, including the Auburn King Sejong Institute, will host a festival highlighting the food, music and performance traditions of the Republic of Korea. Events will include a Korean Food Festival on Nov. 6; a K-Pop Party on Nov. 7 and a Korean Dance and Martial Arts Performance, including a Korean dinner, on Nov. 8. All events are free and open to the public.

In addition, OIP will host an invitation-only luncheon for area industry, economic development and education leaders. Guest speaker Tommy Bice, state superintendent for education, will address the topic "Alabama Workforce Development and the Korean Auto Industry."

The Auburn King Sejong Institute provides Korean language and culture courses and experiences for the central Alabama community. The Institute is a partnership among Auburn University, Keimyung University and the government of the Republic of Korea.
