Chase Moore

Chase Moore is currently pursuing his Master of Music Education Degree at Auburn University where he is also serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Auburn University Bands. Prior to coming to Auburn, Chase served as Director of Bands at Duncanville Middle in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. During his time there, he oversaw the creation of the school’s first independent band program and doubled the enrollment of the program from its original initiation. He also served as the school’s School Site Technology Leader, taught professional development to faculty both school and district wide, served as a Schoology Blended Learning Coach, and participated in new teacher panels to mentor other new teachers.

Originally from Fayette, Alabama, Chase first attended The University of Alabama where he earned a bachelor's degree in Music Education. While attending the university, Chase marched with the Million Dollar Band where he also served on the leadership team for three years as a section leader. He played in all of the university’s bands on various instruments, played with The University of Alabama Trombone Choir, and was treasurer for the University of Alabama Trombone Studio.

Chase is also a member of the Alabama Winds, a community band primarily made of band directors from around the state of Alabama. The Alabama Winds has recently performed at The Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic and will soon travel to Seattle to perform at the Western International Band Clinic. He also serves as webmaster for the Alabama Winds.
