Schedule
A tentative honor band schedule will be posted soon.
Registration will begin at 1:30 pm on June 12.
The final concert will be held at the Gogue Performing Arts Center at 11:00 am on June 15, and will conclude by noon.
The 31st Annual Auburn University Symphonic Honor Band Festival will take place at Auburn University June 12 - 15, 2022.
Students from across the Southeast and the nation will be selected to participate in the festival based on recorded auditions and applications. This year’s festival will feature two bands: the Wind Ensemble and the Symphonic Band. Ensembles will be conducted by renowned band directors, and all participants will have the opportunity to work with Auburn University faculty, staff and students in rehearsals and masterclasses.
Chair placements will be made based on submitted audition recordings. Percussionists will have a short, on-site placement audition upon arrival.
The festival will culminate in a finale concert on Wednesday, June 15 at the Gogue Performing Arts Center.

Housing and Meals
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Auburn University Hotel and Conference Center, and a list of other area hotels is posted above. There are options for meals both on campus and in downtown Auburn. Directors or parents will be responsible for making arrangements for meals and housing.
Transportation
Ensembles will rehearse in the Goodwin Music Building, and concerts will be at the Gogue Performing Arts Center. Students will need transportation to these sites. A schedule will be provided.
Application and Participation Fees
A $10 application fee is required. After being selected, each musician will need to pay a non-refundable $65 participation fee by the deadline in the acceptance letter. Participants will receive a long-sleeved festival t-shirt during check-in, and a medal after the festival has concluded.
