Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Scholarships

Diversity, equity, and inclusion is a core value at Auburn University. Scholarship opportunities intended to support Auburn University’s goal of promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion among its student body, which is key to its educational mission, are awarded by the Office of University Scholarships and each of the 12 colleges. Diversity, equity, and inclusion scholarships can be found in AUSOM by browsing "All" scholarships and searching by the keywords or phrases:

  • Financial need
  • First-generation college student
  • Federal Pell Grant eligible
  • Resident of a highly rural county in Alabama or underserved area in Alabama as determined by Enrollment Management

To receive consideration for all scholarships, including those with an emphasis on promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, students must complete the scholarship application through the Auburn University Scholarship Opportunity Manager (AUSOM) by March 1 for incoming students and current Auburn students. In addition, students are encouraged to provide any supplemental information required for specific scholarships promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
