AU Faculty on State STEM Council

Virginia Davis and Mary Lou Ewald, of Auburn’s Faculty Outreach and Engagement Council & Community of Practice, have been named to the Governor’s State STEM Council. The council was created to advise state leadership on ways to improve STEM-related education, career awareness and workforce development opportunities across the state.

Award for Excellence Nominations Open

2022 Award for Excellence in Faculty Outreach honors the engagement of exemplary faculty members and is presented annually to one Auburn faculty member for distinguished outreach contributions. The deadline to submit a nomination is September 16 at 4:45 P.M..

"Fostering Communities" awarded IGP grant

A partnership between Auburn University and Lee County Youth Development Center (LCYDC), “Fostering Communities in the Kitchen and Garden” was awarded a 2020 Intramural Grants Program (IGP) Interdisciplinary Team Research Grant.

Dr. Cheryl Seals, AU Outreach Scholar and community-engaged faculty in the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering, was named a Charles C. Barkley Endowed Professor in 2020.
