Is a program whose mission is to “promote leadership, scholarship, social awareness, while motivating and empowering the youth to dream and achieve educational success”. In partnership with CEOE, UNITE provides underrepresented students’ in grades 9-12 business etiquette seminars, professional development workshops and engages in community service projects. The focus of UNITE is to lead students to embrace academic achievement and persistence in school, leading to high school and college graduation. UNITE’s founder, Travis Smith has established chapters at LaFayette High School (Chambers County) and Alabama State University. UNITE seniors have obtained more than $5 million dollars in scholarships, been accepted to over 150 colleges, have a 100% high school graduation rate and completed over 2500 hours of community service.
