Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)

Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is an empirically-supported treatment for young children with emotional and behavioral disorders that places emphasis on improving the quality of the parent-child relationship and changing parent-child interaction patterns. PCIT International and Auburn University are pleased to provide therapists and trainees with a growing library of continuing education (CE) videos. Videos feature specialty topics such as the history of PCIT, engaging fathers in PCIT, and using PCIT to treat anxious children. These courses will allow therapists to receive their PCIT continuing education online. These videos are also approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) for CEs for psychologists.
