Cake Walk

The Omicron Delta Kappa, commonly referred to as ODK, Cake Race began in 1928 by Wilber Hutsell. Hutsell was Auburn’s track coach at the time and began the race to discover possible track team recruits in the freshman class. Today, the ODK tradition lives on as a key event during Homecoming week.

War Eagle Girls and Plainsmen Walking Tours

Get to know campus by foot on a walking tour led by Auburn's student representatives, the War Eagle Girls and Plainsmen. Tours will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the Auburn Alumni Center. Tours can be directed to Jordan-Hare Stadium for locker room tours, or back to the Alumni Center.
History of the Auburn Creed and its Author, George Petrie

Visit Pebble Hill to learn about the history of the Auburn Creed and its author, Dr. George Petrie. Author Mike Jernigan will discuss his book Auburn Man: The Life and Times of George Petrie. Parents and family members of Auburn students will receive a 30% discount. Participants will also receive a tour of the historic Scott-Yarbrough House (1847) at Pebble Hill, the oldest house in Auburn. Free parking is available, and the program will end in time for participants to walk from Pebble Hill to attend the 6:00 p.m. Homecoming Parade downtown.

Homecoming Parade & Pep Rally
Downtown Auburn
6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.

The annual Homecoming Parade allows the Auburn community to celebrate alumni returning home and to build spirit for the Homecoming football game the next day. The Auburn University Homecoming Parade features floats from on and off-campus organizations, the Auburn University Cheerleaders, Tiger Paws, and the Auburn University Marching Band. The parade begins at 6:00 p.m., completing a short loop around downtown Auburn before concluding with a pep rally around 6:30 p.m. on Samford Lawn. The best location to view the parade is on College Street in front of Samford Hall.

Tiger Walk

Each gameday, the football team walks from Sewell Hall down Donahue Drive to Jordan-Hare Stadium, but the team does not make the walk alone. Instead, they are celebrated by thousands of Auburn Fans who line the street, and in the process, create one of the greatest scenes in college football.
Spirit March and Pep Rally

The Spirit March and Pep Rally include the Auburn University Marching Band, Cheerleaders, Tiger Paws, and more as they march from Tiger Walk into Jordan-Hare Stadium. Don't miss this opportunity to cheer along to some Auburn favorites to get ready for the game!
Eagle Flight

One of the most revered traditions in college football, the Eagle Flight occurs 16 minutes prior to kickoff. Watch as one of the Southeastern Raptor Center raptors flies around Jordan-Hare Stadium before landing on the 50-yard line as 87,541 fans yell "War Eagle!"
