Research and teaching interests include museum & interpretive center design, product design, drawing, metal and woodworking, plastic casting, and the business of art & design.
Rich also exhibits his cartographic illustrations (Geographics) through a number of shows along the Gulf Coast, and has recently opened Geographics Studio & Gallery in Auburn, Alabama.
