National Pan-Hellenic Council
50 years ago, the first black Greek-letter fraternity was established at Auburn University. Since then the fraternity and sorority community has grown to almost 100 members, with 6 organizations, 3 sororities, and 3 fraternities. We are proud of the rich legacy and culture that is celebrated in our community. Our mission is to promote high standards of scholarship, a greater degree of culture, closer social fellowship, and a stronger inter-fraternal spirit among affiliate members.
Panhellenic Council
Since 1929, the sorority community has made an impact on women’s leadership and empowerment at Auburn University. With 18 sororities and over 5,000 members, Greek women make up 48% of the female undergraduate student body. We are proud of our history and believe in the power behind women supporting women. Our mission is to strive through thought, word, and action, to uphold the traditions, fine standards, and values long held by Auburn women.
