H.I.R.E (Hyundai Initiative for Robotics Excellence) - TEACHER TRAINING TAKES PLACE IN MONTGOMERY

As part of its Community Relations program, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama teamed up with Auburn University’s Southeastern Center of Robotics Education (SCORE) to start the Hyundai Initiative for Robotics Excellence (HIRE). The goal of HIRE is to establish robotics teams at public middle schools in Montgomery County to seed the next generation of a technically proficient workforce.

This Student Research Spotlight is on Davis Arthur, who won the Undergraduate Research Award for the COSAM for his oral presentation during the virtual 2021 Auburn Research: Student Symposium. His research, “Development of a Multiparticle Spectrometer,” could help industry specialists design more efficient chemical processes and materials. The spotlight series recognizes great research by Auburn students, both at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
