Evangelos Miliordos selected for endowed professorship

“Dr. Miliordos is precisely the kind of faculty member the Land Professorship was designed to honor and encourage. His research employs advanced quantum chemical calculations to understand fundamental phenomena (e.g., transition metal-ligand interactions) in a brand new light, fueling ideas for novel real-world applications,” said Doug Goodwin, chair of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.
