Department of Physics Synergizes Auburn Grant, Faculty Expertise and Supercomputer Facility to Propel Energy Project with New Federal Funding

A grant that simply began with support from the Auburn University Intramural Grants Program is now funded by the Department of Energy for $879,826. 

Ashraf Uddin Elected to the GSA Fellowship

Ashraf Uddin of the Department of Geosciences has been recently elected to the GSA Fellowship in recognition of his exceptional contributions in geoscientific research in sedimentary geology, tectonics and contaminant groundwater hydrogeology at the Himalayan-Bengal system and their actualistic application at the Southern Appalachians.
