Alabama State Representative Joe Lovvorn Presents a Check for BEST Robotics

Alabama State Representative Joe Lovvorn from District 79 made a generous donation for the BEST Robotics program that offers robotics programs for both middle and high school students at no cost. Inside COSAM Labs – Ming Chen – Organic Monomers and Mirror Images

In this feature of Inside COSAM Labs, learn about Dr. Ming Chen, an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry who researches synthetic organic chemistry, focusing on areas of asymmetric catalysis. Auburn Students Inspire Future Scientists during National Chemistry Week

Students from Auburn University visited Wright’s Mill Elementary School during National Chemistry Week, October 21 – 27. They shared with students the importance of chemistry and gave a hands-on opportunity to learn about chemical reactions with glow sticks. Meet the Award-Winning Department of Physics

In the latest edition of Journey magazine, COSAM’s Department of Physics was highlighted for winning the 2017 University Senate Departmental Award for Excellence in Education. “The department’s faculty cares a great deal about the teaching that we do, and it’s something that the faculty strives to do well,” said physics' chair James Hanson. “The faculty actively work together to improve the teaching that we do and what the students learn.”  Learn more about this award-winning department.
