 Auburn Alumni, Students and Community Members Tee Off at the 23rd Annual Dean’s Scholarship Golf Classic

More than 65 COSAM students have received support through the Dean’s Scholarship Golf Classic. In its 23rd year, this annual tournament brings together both COSAM alumni and friends for a day of great golf, plus a silent auction and even 3D printing demonstrations. COSAM Faculty Focus: Astrophysicist Dr. Dennis Bodewits Uses Comets to Study the Origins of Our Solar System

Dr. Bodewits is an astrophysicist who even has an asteroid named in his honor. He is a native of the Netherlands and is a world-renowned expert in comets. He tells readers what it is like to see inside one: “As you get closer, the detail comes to life and the images from the spacecraft reveal a surface that is both absolutely unique and incredible.” Read more about this new faculty in the Department of Physics
