On March 14, 2025, our request to implement the new Doctor of Philosophy in Statistics and Data Science (CIP 30.7001) was granted by the Alabama Commission on Higher Education. As many of you know, this has been in development for some time and was a key recommendation from our 2020 Academic Program Review. Its approval marks a significant step forward for our department.
