AUBURN -- The comedies "My Three Angels," and "A Tuna Christmas" will be featured in the Auburn University Theatre Department's Summerstage '99.

"A Tuna Christmas" runs July 15, 17, 23 and 24, and "My Three Angels" plays Aug. 5 and 7. All shows start at 7:30 p.m. at Telfair Peet Theatre.

"A Tuna Christmas," directed by AU professor Will York, is a hilarious comedy based on the original play "Greater Tuna." The two actors in the play will be portraying 22 characters, male and female, which means fast costume changes. The play is set in the town of Tuna, Texas.

"My Three Angels," based on "La Cuisine Des Anges" by Albert Husson, is directed by Professor Ralph Miller. "Angels" is a heartwarming play about three convicts who take on jobs as roofers for a troubled family. When two evil relatives try to destroy the family financially, the convicts see what's going on and run to the rescue.

Two types of tickets are available for each of the shows. Tickets which include dinner before the play are $25. Dinner at Horizons in the AU Hotel and Conference Center is served at 5:30.

Tickets for the play only are $10.
