A couple of notes about E-Verify

A couple of notes about E-Verify

Federal Contractors

As mentioned in the February HR Liaison Network meeting, E-Verify procedures for Federal Contractors are now posted on the Procedures website.

Auburn University is subject to E-Verify verification of all employees (including regular employees, Graduate Assistants, student workers, and temporary employees) performing work related to a federal contract which includes specific Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) language. AU Human Resources and the home department will collaborate with the designated University contract office (Office of Sponsored Programs or the Office of Innovation, Advancement and Commercialization) on the required E-Verify compliance of these assigned employees.

It is important to note that an E-Verify verification cannot occur more than one time on an employee of Auburn University. For additional information please contact Leanne Fuller.

Technical Issues

Please note that we are still experiencing some technical issues with E-Verify, and working closely with Equifax to correct these issues. Please continue to utilize the E-Verify process for your I-9s, and we will update you with any pertinent news regarding E-Verify.
