Housing Renewal Process

Housing will send all current residents an email(s) to their Auburn email account with instructions related to the housing renewal process. During the fall semester, on a first-come, first-served basis, students currently living on campus may renew their lease for the upcoming academic year. Please see the chart below for important dates and deadlines.

Students who are members of a Panhellenic sorority and want to live in Magnolia, Oak or Willow Halls for the upcoming academic year and student-athletes do not need to complete a renewal application at this time. Sorority members and student-athletes have a separate application and room selection process.

Returning residents will be able to select a space in one of the upper-class communities below.

Important Dates

Renewal Week (October 12 - 16, 2020)

Dates Event Information
September 28 – October 7, 2020 Intent to live in on-campus housing form submission Students will receive a renewal email on September 28 with a link to the Intent to live in on-campus housing form. Students must submit this form in order to be given a housing application and room selection timeslot. Students will have until October 7 at 11:59 p.m. to submit this form.
October 12 - 13, 2020 160 Ross and South Donahue Resident Renewal and Room Selection Students currently living in 160 Ross and South Donahue will be able to log in to their housing student portal on Monday, October 12 to access our Renewal Application and Room Selection. Access to the application and room selection will be granted via a timeslot. Timeslots will be emailed to students the week prior to renewal week and will be randomly assigned.
October 14 - 16, 2020 On-campus Resident Renewal and Room Selection All on-campus residents will be able to log in to their housing student portal on Wednesday, October 14 to access our Renewal Application and Room Selection. Access to the application and room selection will be granted via a timeslot. Timeslots will be emailed to students the week prior to renewal week and will be randomly assigned.
February 1, 2021 Returning Resident Cancellation Deadline Returning students that completed the renewal process for fall 2021/spring 2022 academic year must cancel by February 1, to avoid responsibility for their housing agreement and rental payment.
