This email contains key reminders for this weekend's commencement ceremonies.

Commencement Parking 
  • Graduates and guests should plan to park in the Village Parking Lot and other adjacent parking lots. 
  • A parking map is available on the commencement website. 
  • The Neville Arena Parking Lot is reserved for ADA parking only (state-issued hangtags or license plates must be visible).
Arena Entry 
  • Doors open 90 minutes before each ceremony. 
  • Graduates enter Neville Arena through the Student Entrance and guests enter through the Main Entrance.
  • Guests requiring accessible entry may use the Scholarship Entrance.
  • All graduates and guests, including children of all ages, must have a ticket to attend the commencement ceremonies.
  • Have all tickets downloaded and ready to scan or printed before arriving at Neville Arena (print tickets for faster entry). 
  • Graduates and guests must pass through metal detectors before entering. 
Ceremony Information
  • All ceremonies are expected to last approximately 1.5 hours. 
  • Graduates are seated on the floor by college (no assigned seats).
  • Each ceremony includes the commencement address, conferral of degrees, recognition of academic honors, and the student procession. 
  • During the ceremony, graduates receive a copy of the Auburn Creed as you cross the stage. Diplomas are mailed 6-8 weeks following commencement. 
  • Aubie photos are available one hour before each ceremony (graduates only).
  • GradImages takes official commencement photos (including Aubie photos) that are available to purchase one to two weeks following the ceremony.
  • A live stream of each ceremony is available on the commencement website.

Safety Information
Clear Bag Policy 
  • A clear bag policy is strictly enforced.
  • Only bags that do not exceed 4.5" x 6.5" or clear bags up to 12" x 6" x 12" are allowed. Medical bags (essential items only) and diaper bags (accompanied by an infant) are exceptions and will be searched.  
Prohibited Items
The following items are prohibited from entering Neville Arena. Guests must leave these items in their vehicles or can pay a small fee to check them before entry:
  • Balloons and shakers
  • Signs, posters, and fatheads
  • Selfie sticks
  • Artificial noisemakers
  • Camera bags and camera lenses over 4"
  • Outside food and drink (sealed water bottles are permitted) 
  • Weapons (including pocketknives)
  • Wrapped gifts
  • Pets (service animals only)
  • Hoverboards, scooters, and skateboards
