Ceremony Information for Graduates |

Graduates must arrive at least one hour prior to the start of their ceremony.

Upon arrival, graduates should scan their tickets and enter through the Student Entrance, located next to the main entrance of Neville Arena, to pick up their name cards and be seated on the arena floor.

Graduate seating is by college and is not assigned.

Each ceremony is expected to last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

Graduates must remain seated for the duration of the ceremony, including the recessional.

Following the ceremony, all graduates exit Neville Arena to meet their guests at the Meet-Up Tent located in the Neville Arena Parking Lot.

Graduates may only bring a phone, keys, and ID.

No bags are permitted (except medical bags).

Graduates behaving disruptively will be removed from Neville Arena.

Tickets will be available for download and sharing beginning Monday, April 20. Graduates will receive download instructions via email.

Graduates and guests are encouraged to print tickets in advance for quicker entry.

A standby line will be available for guests without tickets. Entry is based on available seating and will open about 15 minutes before the ceremony begins.

Guests without tickets may watch the livestream in the Village Dining Hall.

Selling tickets is prohibited. Graduates found selling tickets will be referred to the Office of Student Conduct and will have all tickets revoked.

Aubie Photos
-
Official Aubie photos are available for graduates (in regalia) on Wednesday, April 29, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and Thursday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. outside of Auburn University Bookstore in Haley Center (no advanced signup required).

Photos with Aubie can be individual or with up to four graduates.

Aubie photos are for graduates only; no outside photography or cameras are permitted.

Ceremony Photos

All graduates have official photos taken as they cross the stage and receive their copy of the Auburn Creed.

Photos are taken by GradImages and are available for purchase one week after the ceremonies.

Graduates and guests can register with GradImages prior to the ceremonies to receive a 20% discount on orders.

Regalia pick up is inside the Auburn University Bookstore from April 27 to May 4.
-
A receipt or photo ID (Digital Tiger ID is acceptable) is required for pickup.

Honor cords are distributed during regalia pick up based on information from the Registrar’s Office. For questions regarding honor cords, contact otrgrad@auburn.edu.

All graduates attending commencement receive an orange and blue commemorative cord when entering Neville Arena.

Only academic cords and stoles officially approved by the Graduation Committee and the Commencement Office are permitted.

Please allow ample time for travel to Neville Arena and parking.

Parking is available in adjacent lots to Neville Arena (within walking distance). A parking map is available on the commencement website.

The Neville Arena Parking Lot is reserved for ADA parking only (state-issued hangtags or license plates must be visible).

All graduates and guests must pass through metal detectors upon entry to Neville Arena.

A CLEAR BAG POLICY is strictly enforced for all guests.
