Top 10 Things for Visitors to Know for Commencement
Be sure to have all tickets downloaded and ready to scan or printed before arriving at Neville Arena. Tickets are required for all guests, regardless of age.
Arena doors open 90 minutes before each ceremony.
Allow ample time to travel to Neville Arena and park. Multiple events are taking place on campus during commencement weekend, which may result in additional traffic. A map of suggested parking lots is available on the commencement website.
Guests enter through the main Neville Arena entrance. Any guests who need access to ADA parking or drop-off can do so in the arena parking lot (first-come, first served; placard must be visible for entry).
A CLEAR BAG POLICY IS STRICTLY ENFORCED. Non-clear bags larger than 4.5” x 6.5” will have to be returned to your vehicle or checked for a small fee.
A complete list of prohibited items is available on the commencement website. This list includes cameras with lenses over 4” and any items that block the view of others (such as fatheads, posters, signs and shakers).
Guests without tickets can wait in the standby line. Entry via the standby line is subject to availability and will be determined approximately 15 minutes prior to the ceremony start time.
A livestream of the ceremonies is available on the commencement website. The Village Dining Hall will be open for guests to view the livestream.
All ceremonies are expected to last between 1.5 and 2 hours.
Following the ceremony, guests can locate their graduate at the Meet-Up Tent (located in the Arena parking lot).
All Spring 2025 graduates will have the opportunity to take regalia photos with Aubie on Wednesday, May 7, from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. and Thursday, May 8, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Photos can be individual or with up to four graduates.
