General Ceremony:

All ceremonies are held inside Neville Arena and include the commencement speaker, conferral of degrees, recognition of students with academic honors, and student procession.

The Graduate School ceremony (all Ph.D. and master’s students) is on Friday, May 3.

All undergraduate ceremonies are on Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5. A full schedule can be found on the commencement website.
Commencement Ticketing:

As a reminder, the deadline to reserve tickets is Thursday, March 21 at 11:30 p.m. Once ticket registration closes, no changes to ticket reservations are permitted.

Students will be notified of the status of their additional ticket requests on Friday, March 29.

Graduates can download tickets beginning Monday, April 22.

All tickets are electronic and can be viewed on a mobile device or as a PDF. Tickets may only be scanned once. You can print your tickets or present a screenshot of your ticket or a downloaded copy of your ticket on a mobile device (not compatible with Apple Wallet or Google Wallet).

All tickets are general admission only (i.e., no assigned seating). Seating inside Neville Arena is on a first-come, first-served basis, including accessibility seating.

Guest tickets for Commencement at Auburn University have NO cash value. The selling or bartering of Commencement tickets is strictly prohibited and is considered an honor offense. If you are discovered to be selling or bartering Commencement tickets your guest ticket(s) may be voided.

Where possible, guest tickets not scanned at the ceremony start time will be given to guests waiting in the standby line. Guest entry via the standby line is dependent on arena capacity and is not guaranteed.

Regalia Orders:

Regalia (cap and gown) is required for all commencement ceremonies and can be purchased through the Auburn University Bookstore.

Regalia ordered for early pickup will be available from March 25 - March 29 from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

The final deadline to order regalia is April 1. If an order is not placed by April 1, graduates can purchase regalia for a $25 late fee and may be subject to limited size availability.
