ADAdrop-off and parking are available in the Arena lot on a first-come, first-served basis (placard must be visible).
Arena doors open 90 minutes prior to each ceremony.
Graduates should arrive one hour before the ceremony and enter through the main student entrance to Neville Arena to scan their ticket, pick up their name card, take an optional photo with Aubie, and be seated with their college.
Guests enter through the main entrance of Neville Arena or the Scholarship Entrance for those with accessibility needs. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis and reserved seating is not permitted. Only one guest may accompany each attendee seated in ADA-designated seating.
Allow extra time for parking and walking to the Arena. Suggested lots are near the Coliseum, Village Residence Halls, and the Stadium Parking Deck.
Printed programs and buttons are available at the main entrances.
Ceremony Tickets
Tickets are required for all guests, regardless of age.
Download ticketsin advance and be prepared to scan them at entry (Apple Wallet is not supported).

Guests without tickets may request tickets at the door, space permitting, or wait in the standby line.
Non-clear bags larger than 4.5” x 6.5” must be returned to vehicles or checked for a $5 fee. Medical bags are permitted.
Prohibited items include cameras with lenses over 4", posters, signs, fat heads, open food or beverages (sealed water bottles are allowed), noisemakers, and any other items that obstruct viewing.
Strollers are permitted but may not block aisles or be parked in ADA seating.
Regalia
Graduates should arrive in full academic regalia with robes, tassels, and bobby pins. Undergraduate robes are black; master’s and doctoral robes are navy.
Regalia pickup is available at theAU BookstoreDecember 8–13.
All graduates will receive a blue and orange Auburn commemorative cord.
Undergraduates start with the tassel on the right and move it to the left when instructed. Master’s and doctoral tassels remain on the left.
Ceremony Information
Graduates are seated by college, with no assigned seats.
Most ceremonies last 1.5 to 2 hours, and graduates are expected to remain seated throughout.
Ceremonies typically include greetings from university leadership, the commencement address, the recognition of academic honors and the student procession.
During the procession, each graduate will have their name announced, receive a copy of the Auburn Creed, shake hands with President Roberts and a Trustee, and have formal photos taken before returning to their seat.
Ceremonies conclude with the Alma Mater, Fight Song, and confetti streamers.
After the ceremony, all graduates and guests must exit Neville Arena and can reunite at the Meet-Up Tent outside Neville Arena to pick up official 2025 graduate merchandise and take photos.
