Commencement is only 30 days away! The following email contains important information for guests attending Fall 2025 Commencement ceremonies.
Heading that reads "Fall Commencement: What to Expect""
  • Plan your Trip: Driving directions and a detailed parking map are available on the commencement website to assist with planning your trip to Neville Arena.
  • Arrival Time: Doors to Neville Arena open 90 minutes before the start of each ceremony. 
  • Ticket Access: Download all tickets before arriving at Neville Arena to ensure a smooth entry.
  • Guest Entry: Upon arrival, guests must scan their tickets and enter through the main entrance. Guests with accessibility needs may enter through the Arena Scholarship Entrance.
  • Security Screening: All guests must pass through metal detectors. A clear bag policy is strictly enforced; see details below.
  • Programs & Buttons: Printed programs and commemorative buttons are available at the main entrances at no charge.
  • Ceremony Highlights: Each ceremony includes the commencement address, conferral of degrees, recognition of academic honors, and the student procession.
  • Ceremony Duration: Each ceremony is expected to last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
  • Post-Ceremony Meet-Up: Following the ceremony, guests will exit Neville Arena and reunite with graduates at the Meet-Up Tent located in the parking lot.

  • Bags that exceed 4.5" x 6.5" or clear bags that exceed 12" x 6" x 12" are not permitted. 
  • Exceptions to the clear bag policy include medical bags (containing only essential items) and diaper bags (must be accompanied by an infant).
  • Other items not allowed inside Neville Arena include camera bags, cameras with lenses over 4", open food and beverages (sealed water bottles are permitted), posters, fat heads, shakers, and pocketknives. A full list of prohibited items is available on the commencement website. 
  • Strollers are permitted but must not block seating or walkways, and cannot be parked in ADA seating areas.
  • Guests may check prohibited items for a $5 fee or return them to their vehicles.

  • Graduates who requested and received waitlist tickets must claim them by Monday, Nov. 24.
  • Graduates who have reserved commencement tickets can begin downloading and sharing them on Monday, Dec. 1. Only graduates are authorized to access and distribute tickets.
  • Graduates and guests who register with GradImages prior to Fall Commencement receive a 20% discount on all orders.
  • Guests can view frequently asked questions and detailed accessibility information on the commencement website.
