Being originally from Tallassee, Alabama, Auburn University has become Smith’s home not so far away from home. He completed his undergraduate coursework in Biomedical Sciences: Pre-Pharmacy within the College of Science and Mathematics (COSAM) here at Auburn University and iscurrently enrolled in the PharmD/PhD pilot program at the Harrison School of Pharmacy. Smith’s personal area of interest is the use of pharmacological agents in alleviation of cognition and memory deficits associated with neurodegeneration in Alzheimer’s Disease and various types of cancer treatments.
