New ‘Internationalizing Teaching and the Curriculum’ website is live

International perspectives, skills and mindsets are more important today than ever. The COVID-19 pandemic brought to light just how globally interconnected every aspect of society is, and students able to navigate these challenges and opportunities will be in higher demand in a changed work environment. While study abroad serves as one way for some students to develop these skills, Auburn University offers many resources to facilitate the internationalization of our courses, curricula and the student experience.

In support of faculty navigating this ever-evolving environment, the Auburn University Office of International Programs has created an Internationalizing Teaching and the Curriculum website. The ITC website is designed to supply faculty with inspiration and encouragement for incorporating internationalization strategies into their teaching and curriculum, as well as provide a platform to highlight the successful implementation of such strategies into current courses and faculty teaching tactics.

To further expand on these examples of successful internationalization implementation at Auburn, the Office of International Programs encourages the Auburn faculty to share their successful strategies. To submit an internationalization success story or example, visit the ITC website and select "Share My Success Story" on the navigation bar or directly email the Director of International Initiatives Jenn Mason.
