Cupressaceae or Taxodiaceae

Needles are flat, shiny, sharply pointed, evergreen and about 3 inches long. Cones are woody and rosette-like. Bark is red-brown and fibrous. Chinafir is planted in the southeastern US but it can be messy with dead branches.
