The Department of Biological Sciences at Auburn University invites applications for a 9-month non-tenure-track faculty position in biological sciences beginning August 16, 2012. The position is a one-year appointment and is subject to annual renewal based on need, performance and funding.  The successful candidate should be broadly trained and will be expected to teach courses in our rapidly expanding offerings of anatomy and physiology and introductory biology.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences or a doctorate in a related field and demonstrable teaching experience.  Desired qualifications include a strong record of exemplary teaching at the undergraduate level and good interpersonal skills.  Excellent communication skills are required.
