Xuhua (Roy) Liu has passed the final oral exam for doctoral degree in Mathematics at Auburn University. He will teach Mathematics in The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga beginning August 2012. Right before coming to Auburn, Roy obtained a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Dalian University of Technology in China in July 2007. His PhD advisor is Prof. Tin-Yau Tam.

Roy is teaching Math 1680-011 Calculus with Business Applications I in Summer 2012.
