Course
Description: Fisheries Biology and Management is designed to be a
general introduction to the principles and techniques of aquatic resource
management with particular emphasis on freshwater fish populations.
Lectures will cover the history of fisheries management, legal considerations,
basic population ecology, management approaches, and conservation issues.
The lab will provide the students with hands-on experience sampling and
data analysis.
