Joe Adams, son of the late John Quincy Adams Jr., accepts plaque from Ann Smith,
chairman of the Hall of Honor Committee.  Mrs. Smith is associate editor of The Eufaula Tribune.
Joe Adams is editor and publisher of The Southern Star, the oldest family-owned newspaper in Alabama.


Rebecca Parish Beasley, daughter of the late Bertie Gammell Parish, accepts
plaque from Ann Smith, chairman of the Hall of Honor Committee.  Rebecca Beasley
succeeded her mother, Bertie Gammell Parish, and grandparents,  William L. Gammell
and Pearle E. Gammell, as editor and publisher of The Clayton Record.
