What do you want to be when you grow up?

By Ed Williams
You might want to work on your school or college newspaper someday.  When you grow up you might want to work on a newspaper as well. You might want to study journalism in college. Some of the things you do now will help you, such as reading a lot, learning word meanings in the dictionary, and being careful in spelling and getting facts correct in your school work.

There are all kinds of jobs at a newspaper.  It takes lots of people to write the news and put out the newspaper. Some of the jobs available at the newspaper are publisher, editor, reporter, Webmaster, photographer, advertising salesperson, and printer.

Do you think you might like to work on a newspaper when you grow up?
