Salter Assignment
Clarification of the homework assignment:
Each group has been employed by Salter
Construction for a few weeks. You have been asked by Brent to do a
strategic plan with recommendations and a SWOT analysis. Assume that you
are working for Salter Construction and have been given about a day and a
half to complete this project prior to presenting your analysis to Brent.
Within the strategic plan you should have recommendations on how to achieve the goals that you have assembled. Include a solution to the scenario that Brent gave about selling high quality. Also, research the Lake Martin project and give a recommendation on that.
Keep in mind that quality is a large issue. We do not want to sacrifice quality in any way. Salter construction is not only pursuing high-end work. Brent does not care about selling high quality finishes as much as he cares about the quality of he overall structural construction and the things that the customer may not see.
