Treatment of Subcontractors

Jericho Construction believes in treating our clients fairly and equally.  In addition to this standard, we realize that covering our bases legally in this day and age is very important. We as a company need to stress the importance of writing scope statements and in doing so we believe that equal treatment of subcontractors will come from implementing a standard for writing scope statements fairly and accurately.

Scope Statement Manuals

Our company will implement a policy manual that will describe how to write scope statements. This manual will help Project Managers develop the scope statements in a fair and equal manner.  The manual will be the ultimate guide in the position that Jericho Construction takes with regards to subcontractor coverage.  Therefore, it is vital that this manual represent Jericho Construction fairly and accurately.  The manual will be written by tenured Project Managers and will be distributed to all Project Managers who are writing the scope statements. The Senior Project Manager and his staff will schedule the initial planning meeting for the manual project.

Subcontractor Seminars

In addition to the scope statement-writing manual, we will implement a seminar series that will focus on subcontractor relations.  The purpose of this seminar is to increase better communication between our employees and subcontractors.  The President of Jericho Construction, Lance R Davis, will teach the seminar. All Project Managers are required to attend each quarterly seminar. More details on these seminars will be forthcoming in the next few weeks.

In conclusion, the purpose of this action plan is to again help Jericho Construction become a more enjoyable place to work.   We regard the health of our company as a vital part to our success, and with the above-mentioned programs, we hope this will effectively increase company productivity and ultimately achieve our goals.
