Croker Meeting

You are the CM of a large museum in Dallas, which was designed by a prominent Japanese architect and features primarily architectural concrete.  As CM you are responsible for 5 or 6 prime contractors.  Unfortunately, because the prime concrete contractor you suggested owes the formwork sub and concrete supplier $250,000, they are both threatening to lien the job.  Because of the threatened lien the owner is upset with your boss and your boss is in turn mad at you.  You, after repeatedly asking nicely for payment to be made, have been told to resolve the situation immediately.

Charlie Croker, whom with you have a long-standing relationship, has a reputation for good work which he has performed on this particular job.  He is a sixty year old, wealthy, former Auburn linebacker who has been in the business for thirty-five years.  Also, he is known to be charismatic, aggressive, belligerent, and a big spender.  You are fully aware that he has gotten himself into trouble on another job.

Since you are responsible for resolving the situation what will be your means and methods for setting up and conducting the meeting.
