Thesis title:Assessment of Queen Conch,Lobatus gigas, Density, Middens and Permitting Requirements, in South Eleuthera, Bahamas

Growing up in the Bahamas, I became interested in aquaculture after making a presentation in tenth grade on the queen conch (Eustrombus gigas, previously Strombus gigas). This organism is economically and culturally important to the people of the Bahamas and the Caribbean, where it is commercially extinct in some regions, and so developing its culture was always on my mind.
