Teaching Music with Twenty-First Century Tools

These sessions explored the use of computer technology in teaching music. The session topics included: MIDI for practice, performance, and rehearsal; Finale for professional-looking music notation; creation of multimedia for the classroom and concert hall; the Internet in teaching; and music education software products. The sessions emphasized practical uses of technology in today's classrooms and rehearsal sites as well as implications for music teachers of the Twenty-First Century.
