8. Posting your file

You may post your files on the WWW for the world to see if you have an account on a web server.

If you are using Netscape, then, after you are happy with the way your files look and behave, go to the File menu and select Publish. Click on Include all files in page's folder to see all the files in your folder. Highlight those files to be posted (everything that is linked, such as inline graphics, etc.) Under Publish Files to This Location, type the URL for your WWW folder, e.g., ftp://wood.duc.auburn.edu/home/duc11/wallski/public_html/index.html. Enter your login name and password and click OK.

To see your files on the web, use Netscape in the browse mode. Go to your URL, e.g., http://www.auburn.edu/~jdoe/nameofthefile.html.
